Our Program

Earthlings Learning values child-centered, holistic education — prioritizing social-emotional development alongside core academics and specialty subjects. Our curriculum draws from Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia methodologies, promoting hands-on, nature-based inquiry, exploration, and discovery. This cooperative space offers both indoor and outdoor portions throughout the day to achieve the balance our program strives for.

Our Week

Every morning begins with core academics — Math & Language Arts. Afternoons are dedicated to our signature themed enrichment.

Movement & Mindfulness Mondays

Centered around slowing down and going at our own individual pace — setting the flow and tone for the school week ahead.

Afternoon Enrichment

Tea ceremony, guided yoga and meditation, and physical activities and games that strengthen gross and fine motor skills, team building, and self-confidence.

Time Travel Tuesdays

Immersive lessons in cultural studies, history, and storytelling through engaging projects and activities.

Afternoon Enrichment

American Sign Language, local Native American history, and projects weaving multi-cultural studies, sociology, anthropology, and archeology.

Workshop Wednesdays

A deep focus into hands-on art and maker projects that emphasize sustainable, eco-friendly practices.

Afternoon Enrichment

Painting, mixed media, needle work, wood work, cooking meals with ingredients from our garden, and re-purposing materials.

Nature Study Thursdays

Creating the mind-to-body connection in nature — a balanced way to wrap up our week as naturalists of our own communities.

Ecology, entomology, and the natural history of South Florida's rich, diverse biomes and ecosystems. Monthly field trips to local parks, beaches, and environmental education centers.

Miss Leeza Abramov, Founder of Earthlings Learning Cooperative

"Every child deserves a learning environment that feels like home."

Miss Leeza

Our Story

A teacher, a vision,
and a community
that said yes

Earthlings Learning Cooperative began with a shared frustration and a bold dream. Miss Leeza Abramov — a dedicated and passionate educator with a deep love for hands-on, child-centered learning — had long envisioned a program that would serve the growing homeschooling community in a meaningful way.

When a small group of local homeschooling parents heard her vision, something clicked. Together, they combined their lived experience as families navigating home education with Miss Leeza's teaching expertise to build something their community was desperately missing: a cooperative where children could learn together, grow together, and truly thrive.

What started around a kitchen table has become a thriving cooperative — built by parents, led by educators, and made for kids.
